About the Project

Welcome to the Photo Directory of Amtgard Artists!

Its function is to make an accessible list of those that participate in Arts and Science within our community. This makes the arts more visible to anyone looking to join without having to rely on just happening to stumble upon someone working on a project. It will also put faces to names you might have heard but have never physically met, so connecting at events will become easier.

In the long run we hope that this becomes something we can use in both recruitment and mentorship.

It started as a project specifically for The Kingdom of the Wetlands with much smaller ambitions to be a useful PDF document (which does still exist). Launched as the first big project for The House of the ✨️ Aesthetic ✨️, a household designed to be an unofficial colors guild and promoter of all A&S. However, as people outside of the Wetlands were interested in being added to the directory it quickly spread to both The Celestial Kingdom and Kingdom of the Northern Lights.

That's where it caught the attention of Aera Leyric, a fellow arts enthusiast with coding experience. The upscale of the project wouldn't have been possible without her.

Sir Amaryllis Hasset - Kingdom of the Wetlands

A Serpent Knight known for a specialization in sewing and garb creation. A deep love for fantasy, role-playing games, and the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. Founder of The House of the ✨️ Aesthetic ✨️. Will talk your ear off about the A&S within Amtgard on any given day.

Lady Aera Leyric - Principality of the Painted Skies

Aera is a lover of textiles - fabric, yarn, spinning, weaving, sewing, knitting, crocheting, or other textile arts waiting to be mastered. Outside of Amtgard, she currently works as a computer programmer, and is so excited to have an opportunity where her professional experience can intersect with A&S.
